BALLOONAIR Location and Care

BALLOONAIR uses high-precision CO2, humidity and temperature sensors. To ensure the correct functioning of the device, please follow the rules below.

Correct placement.

It is best to keep the BALLOONAIR in the area with free air circulation at a height 60-160 cm from the floor. Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight or in dusty places such as floors and room corners.

For accurate measurements, the BALLOONAIR requires free air circulation inside the unit. Do not move the device close (<10cm) to the walls or other objects.

Setup and calibration.

When the BALLOONAIR is turned on for the first time, it performs the sensor calibration. During the first week of using the device, it is important to keep it in a well-ventilated area and to avoid moving it from place to place. While being calibrated, the CO2 readings may differ from the actual ones. Within a week, most often in the first few days, the BALLOONAIR will be fully calibrated to the current conditions. The device is equipped with a continuous calibration algorithm to provide the stable readings in the future.

BALLOONAIR care

Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the outside of the BALLOONAIR. Do not use water, cleaning solutions or other liquids. To clean your device, unplug it and gently wipe it with a damp towel.

BALLOONAIR and security

Please do not try to disassemble BALLOONAIR. This may cause permanent damage to the unit and its internal components. This will void the warranty.

Always use the supplied USB cable. To power BALLOONAIR, use the USB connectors with DC 5V. Make sure the USB cable is plugged directly into a power source. Try to avoid using the extension cords, USB hubs, etc.
