Initial BALLOONAIR setup

Initial setup and troubleshooting of the device step-by-step setup guide.

1. Chose the place where you want to install the BALLOONAIR. Review the guidelines for choosing a location and calibration of your device.
2. Download Balloonair app to your mobile device from the Apple Store or Google Play Store. Log in to the application using the recommended options.
3. Connect BALLOONAIR to a 5V DC power source (USB socket, computer USB port, etc.). After a short boot-up, the LED indicator of the device will flash several times with changing colors, then it will switch to a steady light mode. Wait until the sensor enters steady light mode and go to the next step.
4. In the mobile application, start the procedure “add the device”. Follow the instructions on the screen. The application will ask you to give a permission to access a geolocation, which is required to access Wi-Fi networks. We do not use the location data for commercial or other purposes. Then connect BALLOONAIR to a Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz standard). If you have difficulty connecting, follow the instructions on the screen and start over. 5. After completing the BALLOONAIR setup, you will be taken to the main screen, as soon as the first data begins to flow from the device to the platform, it will be reflected in the mobile application. The name of the newly added device can be changed in the device settings.
